I need help identifying and knowing how to take care of.

I have this plant and I do not know what it is or how to properly care for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say Agloenema too. generally shade exposure is best.

Re: I need help identifying and knowing how to take care of.

Thanks for the response, it should be helpful. Most of the chinese evergreen that I am seeing pictures of look smaller and seem like they have a lot more leaves and a shorter stalk. Would it be helpful to find out more specifically what kind of chinese evergreen or are they all cared for the same?

Re: I need help identifying and knowing how to take care of.

Mostly cared for the same from what I read, but some new varieties/cultivars were more frost tolerant than the older ones. Older ones couldn't stand temps lest than 50F and could be damaged just by carrying in from a car, or the draft from an open window. One of the experts here might have better info for you. Harry
