Can anyone help me figure out what this plant is? I recently bought it from Home Depot and the only identification on it was "tropical plant". The attached picture doesn't do it justice. The white spots are water spots, not part of the plant. Also it may be hard to tell but the plant is a deep pinkish, reddish color. The smaller, younger leaves, start out green then turn into the pinkish color. Anyone have any clues?

This is a Cordyline terminalis (Hawaiian ti plant). See this link to the University of Vermont for a synopsis of the different cultivars and cultural information.
