gloxinia buds turn brown

My gloxinia was blooming well and with lots of new buds coming then I notice the buds start to turn brown and stop growing. can anyone advice me what is happening? I am so worry that my plant will soon die. Please help.....................

Hi Sherene,

Gloxinia grow from a tuber and are very sensitive to overwatering and underwatering. It sounds like yours is getting too much water or the tuber is finished blooming for now and wants to go dormant. Here's some growing information that should be helpful.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
