My beautiful unknown plant

I don't have a picture, but it looks like nothing I have ever seen so maybe you will know what it is without a picture.

The plant is waxy, mostly green and has white flowers that have one petal (that looks like a leaf) with a spikey center ball. I put it outside and the leaves look like they burned. I dug it up and brought it inside so hopefully I will manage to save it. I got it at the grocery store and I haven't seen and thing like it since. Please help me!

Re: My beautiful unknown plant

Sounds like a Spathiphyllum spp.. Try this site for comparison: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...lr%3D%26sa%3DN
It should not be planted outside and it likes lots of water and low light levels.
