What Do I Have?

I got this plant from a friend when they were moving. All she knew was that it liked a lot of light and has easy to snap off delicate stems-almost like a succulent with long reddish hairy like bristles.
From experimenting with it, I have found out that it loves the light from a south/west window and dry soil between waterings. It also started to bloom with these long leggy stalks full of lady slipper-like flowers. It has been blooming now for over 2 months.

If you can identify it, please tell me what it is, and if I am properly caring for it and any other tidbits you could provide.

Re: What Do I Have?

You've got the growing conditions right. Rule of thumb: If a plant is doing well then you must be doing it right. ;-)

These can be progated from leaf and stem cuttings rooted in water.
