weeping cherry

Hello,

I am looking at getting a weeping cherry, but I have heard that here on the BC coast that they do not do well and only a few will make it. Does anyone now if I should bother getting one...or is it a lost cause!

thanks!

Re: weeping cherry

Not an orchard fruit, but rather an ornamental. Prone to pests and diseases, but so are roses. There are weeping cherries all over Vancouver, you will have no trouble finding them at garden centres at this time of the year.
