Bird Of Paradise

Hi, i bought a very large bird of paradise(White Blooms) 2 years ago, after i bought it, it only shot up about 6-7 leaves, and has not showed any progress in growing in the last 4-5 months, what is goin on?? Thanks

They do grow very slowly. I have had mine for 11 years, and it will put out (on average) about 5 - 8 leaves per year. Also they really slow down in the winter. Most plants do. Hope this helps.
