Toggling the Right Sidebar
For users who have registered, you can toggle the display of the right column sidebar on or off by doing the following:
1) Click on My Settings in the upper green navigation bar.
2) Click on Edit Options in the left column menu.
3) Scroll down the page to the area where it says "Thread Display Options".
4) Change Display Right Sidebar to "Off" from "On".
5) Scroll down the page a bit more and click on "Save Changes".
As an aside, if you are on dialup, you can also speed up your forum browsing a bit by deselecting some or all of the "Visible Post Elements" under "Thread Display Options".
