? about my orchids?
Hello my name is Carlos. I’m new to growing Orchids and I’m having problems with my 4 orchid plants.
There is white fungus or something like that on some of the leaves and in the middle of the plant.
The leaves look green and the leaves near the middle are a purple color. My orchid is growing in compost dirt that I mad.
I have them on a shelve that is on the west window that go along one side of my studio apartment. It isn't in the direct light but it dose get plenty of light. I have each plant in separate planters with place that excess water can drain into. They are not directly in the water but above it about 1/2 inch. Then I put some water in the bottom to help increase the humidity. The room temp is about about 70 at night and about 80 or so during the day.
What do I need to do to make my plants healthier? I would love to hear from anyone who would offer any expert advice. Thank you for your time and I will be looking forward to hearing from you soon.
