Black rot inside apples.

I have an apple tree that produces well, but the majority of the apples have in the interior of the apple ,especially the core, a black rotted area.
The rot seems to start on the outside especially at the opposit end of the stem.
Any info on treatment would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Bert

Re: Black rot inside apples.

Its probably Bitter pit.

Its quite a common disease. Some varieties are more prone than others. Fuji
and Honeycrisp can have probems with this.

Cheers
