Holiday Wreath Sale (2009)
Unique handmade wreaths and arrangements featuring plants from the garden will be on sale from Nov. 24 to early December (until sold out), 10am to 4:30pm (opens 9:30am M-F).
About the Holiday Wreath Sale
Fresh Christmas wreaths from UBC Botanical Garden
Unusual evergreens, colourful berries and exotic foliage collected in the Botanical Garden and from the gardens of volunteers and garden members are crafted into beautiful fresh Holiday wreaths, baskets and door swags. Our special construction ensures that - with a regular, generous spritz of water - the wreaths will last to the end of February and beyond.
Labels listing the rarer and unusual plants used are supplied with some of the larger wreaths and baskets. Only 300 or so of these unique decorations are made - so it is essential to come early for the best selection.
Prices range from $35 to $80 and fresh supplies arrive in the Shop in the Garden each day from November 26th to December 5th.
