30th Annual Indoor Plant Sale (2007)
UBC Botanical Garden hosts its 30th Annual Indoor Plant Sale from 11 am to 6 pm on September 13th and 14th. Plants available at student friendly prices!
About the Indoor Plant Sale
A wide selection of indoor plants at student-friendly prices
The UBC Indoor Plant Sale is the longest-running sale or community event at UBC Botanical Garden. The first Indoor Plant Sale was in 1977, and the volunteers running the sale were thrilled to have raised $200 for research and education at the Botanical Garden.
Today, the Indoor Plant Sale is a well-known annual event that attracts both students wishing to decorate their dormitories and indoor plant enthusiasts seeking to support the garden while purchasing plants they admire.
Selections of indoor plants include: tropicals, kitchen herbs, cacti and other succulents, hanging plants, flowering pot plants, orchids, specimen plants and climbing plants. Dried flowers are also available.
All funds generated from the sale support research and educational activities at UBC Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research
