Free Desktop Wallpaper

The UBC Botanical
Garden and Centre for Plant Research is pleased to offer a selection
of flower and plant photographs for personal use as desktop wallpaper.

Instructions
To set a
photo as your wallpaper, click on the numbers that match your
screen-size to the right of the image that you want. A new window
will open. Wait until the image fully downloads to your browser,
then right-click anywhere on the image and click on "Set
as wallpaper" (in Netscape or Internet Explorer) or select
"Use image as... -> Desktop Background" (in Opera).
You may have to right-click on your desktop and select "Refresh"
if you use Netscape.
For older
version browsers, click on the numbers that match your screen-size
to the right of the image that you want. A new window will open.
Wait until the image fully downloads to your browser, then right-click
anywhere on the image and click on "Save image as..."
(in Netscape) or "Save picture as..." (in Internet Explorer).
Save the picture to an easy to find location (C:\Windows would
be fine). Next, click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
Open the Display properties, then click on the Background tab.
Click on the Browse... button, and then go to the directory where
you saved the image and select the image. Click on Open, then
click on OK.
