Plant Propagation from Cuttings (Lecture)
Monday, June 9, 2008
12pm to 1pm
Lecture Details Propagation is the production of new plants using seeds, grafting, cuttings, etc. Plant material doesn't have to be expensive. With permission from friends, family and neighbours you can take cuttings from plants you’ve been eyeing in their gardens or homes and yield your own specimens for free. Or, propagate a rare or special plant from your own home that you've been wishing you'd purchased more of. In this lecture, Kevin Kubeck will discuss techniques and options for successful propagation from cuttings.
Instructor Kevin Kubeck is a UBC Botanical Garden horticulturist and propagation specialist.
