The Art of Dried Flower Arranging (Course)

Course Details Learn the art of dried flower arranging with the Friends of the Garden. In this course, participants will learn the appropriate plants to grow and how to successfully dry them, as well as the tools and techniques for working with various plants to create beautiful dried flower arrangements. Flowers, foam and containers will be provided for participants to create their own dried masterpiece as a decoration for their home, and particularly nice as an attractive, fragrant, long-lasting and low-maintenance gift for friends or family.  

Instructors Betty Cotton and Trudean Billings, Friends of the Garden since 1989 and 2005 respectively.  

Location UBC Botanical Garden Workshop. Please meet at the front entrance to UBC Botanical Garden, where a staff member will be available to lead participants to the Workshop. (Directions to the Botanical Garden)  

Class Size 12 people maximum  

Cost (General) $60.00  

Cost (Garden Members) $55.00
