29th Annual Indoor Plant Sale (2006)
UBC Botanical Garden hosts its 29th Annual Indoor Plant Sale this September 14 and 15. Always a popular event with plant enthusiasts and students, the sale is a great way to decorate a dorm room or office on a budget. Plants will be sold from 11am to 6pm near the entrance of the garden. Come early for the best selection!
A variety of indoor plants will be available for home, dorm or office: orchids, hibiscus and many other exotic flowering plants; a beautiful assortment of foliage plants; herbs; hanging baskets; cacti and succulents. Dried flowers collected from the garden will also be available, a good choice for those whose thumb is not so green.
Volunteers will be on hand to help you choose the best plants and advise you on their care.
In addition to free parking at UBC Botanical Garden for the event, transit riders and on-campus students can now take the Translink Community Shuttle C20 from the main UBC bus stop (C20 Route Map).
For more information, visit the UBC Indoor Plant Sale web page.
All funds generated from the sale support the research and educational activities at UBC Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research.
