Forum on Biodiversity and Urban Form


Evergreen will present a forum and discussion panel titled, Look Who's Partnering For Biodiversity in Our Cities, Friday Nov. 5, 7-9pm at the UBC Downtown Campus, Robson Square. The featured speaker will be Mike Houck, Director, Urban Green Spaces Institute, and urban naturalist with the Audubon Society of Portland.

Mr. Houck will discuss his experiences with Portland Metro and regional planning that considers biodiversity. He will make the case for creating new partnerships beyond the environmental community to foster biodiversity preservation. There will be a panel discussion following the presentation.
