Get the Dirt on Serpentine Soil

On Wednesday May 12, 2004, the Alpine Garden Club of BC will present a lecture by Gary Lewis entitled “The Story of Serpentine Soils”. The free seminar will start at 7:30pm in Floral Hall at VanDusen Botanical Garden.

Gary Lewis is an M.Sc. candidate in the department of Botany at UBC. He will introduce the unique ecology and plant species of serpentine ecosystems.

Serpentine soil will be sold after the lecture as a fundraiser for the Studies on BC Ecosystems Fund at UBC. Don’t miss this rare opportunity!
