Why are some groups of plants only found in China and the southeast US? Why are some plant groups only found north of the equator? Dr. Michael Donoghue from Yale shares his insights into plant distribution trends in this special lecture on April 8 at 11 am at the Botanical Garden Reception Centre.
Dr. Michael Donoghue is a specialist in the field of plant diversity and evolution. He is one of the most eminent authorities on the Chinese and North American floras. He has long term interests in the Order Dipsacales, including Viburnum and its relatives.
