February Courses and Lectures
Are you a new gardener? Or perhaps you are looking for methods of dormant pruning? Maybe you'd like a reminder of summer wildflowers? Consider attending one (or all!) of this month's courses and lectures.
On February 7, join Judy Newton for her course on Skills for New Gardeners. There are few who could surpass Judy in teaching about this topic - let Judy introduce you to gardening with patience and fun.
The following Monday, February 9, features an evening lecture by Mary Keen on Fusion Gardening. Mary is one of the foremost authors and gardening consultants in England.
Earlier that day, this month's Monday seminar highlights the Flora of Garibaldi Provincial Park. This talk by Daniel Mosquin blends in historic slides of the area with modern day photographs.
On Valentine's Day, enthusiastic garden horticulturist Andrew Hill presents a course on Dormant Pruning of Trees and Shrubs. This course features hands-on pruning with an able tutor - an opportunity not to be missed!
