Judy Newton and David Tarrant continue their Thursday noon lecture series with talks about berries for winter colour on November 6 and building winter containers on November 13. Entry is $5 and please call 604-822-3928 to let us know you'll be attending.

On Monday, November 10, the monthly free noon series continues with UBC Botanical Garden's Dr. Andrew Riseman talking about the science and art of plant breeding with an emphasis on his current projects.

Andy Hill will share his knowledge about dormant pruning on November 22. Andy is a horticulturist at UBC Botanical Garden known for his enthusiasm and skill. This Saturday morning course requires advance registration and costs $32 (or $28 for garden members).
